The high-precision cylindrical roller bearings of the N19.., N10.. and selected HCN10.. series are ideal floating bearings characterised by high radial rigidity. Besides floating bearing applications, they are used wherever a radially rigid, stable and highly precise bearing arrangement is required.
To set the radial clearance exactly, the standard version has a tapered bore (taper 1:12). The required radial clearance or preload is set by shifting the bearing axially on the tapered shaft seat.
